add the cool efect

Add the cool effect of colouring grass to appear like it has been written on, like on TV! Start by opening a new document. I have made mine 600 x 600 pixels. Fill the background layer a nice tone of green, (i used #006600) by using Edit > Fill > Foreground Colour (Or ALT + Backspace shortcut) Now click Edit > Noise > Add Noise, and use the following settings.. And now hit enter, and enjoy your grass for a short while. Click to enlarge! Great! Ok, now to the logo and whatnot. If you're using text, then create your writing in a chunky font, they always look the best. Put the colour to #003a66 and then click Layer > Rasterize > Layer However..if you're using a logo of yours, just paste it on. Click Edit > Layer Styles > Blending options - Then click Colour Overlay and put #003a66. I've used both to save complications. Click to enlarge! Ew, looks horrible doesn't it? Never worry.. let's fix it. (Regardless of if you used text of a logo, it doesn't matter.. all the steps are the same from here anyway) Ok, duplicate your layer (Layer > Duplicate Layer) and click Layer > Layer Styles > Blending options, and change the colour to #99cc66 on colour overlay. Click to enlarge! Now, drag this green layer under the blue one on your layers palate Then click Filter > Other > Offset to create a sort of cast-shadow. Use the settings of... And you'll be presented with something that looks like Click to enlarge! W00t! Ok, right. Go to your blue layer (which should be the top..) And click Layer > Layer Styles > Blending Options and add a 4 pixel white stroke, outside. Click to enlarge! Almost finished. Hide the background layer (Grass) and click Layer > Merge visible and then unhide it. You will be able to see no difference, exept the layers don't have any blending options in them now. But now let's add one. Layers > Layer Styles > Blending options and just add a 3px black stroke, outside. And finally, Filter > Noise > Add noise and just press ok, since the settings wont have changed since we did it before. And you're donneee. Like this tutorial?
